The Fashion and Editorial Makeup Artist Course is design to explore creativity with make-up designs to prepare artists for the industry for fashion editorials, fashion advertising campaigns, fashion runway shows and beauty editorials.
Whether it be for print or runway, fashion and editorial makeup application must be creative, yet appropriate for the purpose to be served. It is important to understand the latest runway and couture trends from international and national shows, as well as what is happening on the high street. Fashion makeup can be minimal, edgy, dramatic, vintage inspired and classic.
Working as a makeup artist on editorial photoshoots is a highly creative process for a makeup artist. It requires the makeup artist to work as team to produce an illustrative story through their vision.
During this course students will have a strong understanding of the importance of beautiful flawless skin and how to collaborate and design looks towards a creative brief.

At the end of the course the students have the option to participate in a professional photoshoots to build their portfolio. The photoshoot is set on the creative briefs outlined in the assessments for the artist to showcase their individual skills.
