CUF50407 Diploma of Specialist Make-up Services

The Diploma of Make-up is designed for students who wish to gain practical, theoretical and industry skills required to work as a make-up artist specialising and providing services for:
- Cosmetic restoration
- Advanced Special effects
- Body art
- Feature films
- Television productions
- Media injury simulation
- Corrective make-up
- Working effects
- Airbrushing
Fashion Strand
The total course duration is 18 weeks - this includes school holidays, public holidays, etc. The program is delivered over a period of 16 weeks. Monday to Thursdays at either 8am-1pm OR 1pm-6pm
Cost
Total course cost is $3,100.00 - This course is GST Exempt.
A deposit of $1,240 is payable on enrolment.
Total course cost is to be paid in full 14 days prior to the course start date, or in weekly installments of $131.00 via direct debit.
A weekly payment plan incurs a surcharge of 20%.
Materials $650.00 Air Gun and compressor
*Certain classes will require students to bring / arrange their own models. Students will be notified prior to the scheduled class.

Total course cost is $6,300.00 - This course is GST Exempt.
A deposit of $1800.00 is payable on enrolment.
Total course cost is to be paid either in full or 14 days prior to course start date, or in weekly installments of $200.00 via direct debit. A weekly payment plan incurs a surcharge of 20%.
Payment plan If you are unable to pay in full by the start date you will automatically go on the payment plan.
Materials $1,250
Participants are required to pay their deposit and purchase kits and materials 14 days prior to the course start date. Please note that payment plans are not available for materials.
Pre-requisites
- Applicants are required to have completed Certificate IV in Make-up (or equivalent), including a minimum of 200 hours of work experience.
- Applicants should display clear communication skills, and a passion for the make-up industry.
- All applicants are encouraged to obtain and read a copy of CJMD Policies and Procedures prior to enrollment s your signed enrollment form signifies your legal contract and agreement to these terms.
- During this course you are required to be available for work experience, which may include weekend and/or evening work.
